We are pleased to share that Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert was awarded the Hans and Marlies Zimmer International Scholar Award 2025 during his recent visit to the University of Cincinnati on July 1st, 2025.
This distinguished award honors internationally recognized chemists for outstanding scientific achievements and contributions to academic exchange. During his visit, Prof. Schubert delivered a keynote lecture and engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty members and students — fostering valuable interdisciplinary dialogue and opening new avenues for future collaboration.
The program also included a reception and dinner, where Prof. Schubert had the pleasure of meeting Hans Zimmer JrExternal link., highlighting the award’s strong tradition of connecting international researchers through personal and professional exchange.
Reflecting on his visit, Prof. Schubert stated:
