As part of the Laboratory of Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry, the professorship of Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert currently has about 100 members from 12 different countries. With more than 1.150 scientific publications, 59.100 citations (Google Scholar 76.600) and an h-index of 108 (Google Scholar 123), Professor Schubert is one of the world's leading chemists and materials scientists. He is listed as "highly cited researcher" since 2014. In addition, he is an external scientific member of the Max Planck Society (MPG), elected member of acatech (National Academy of Science and Engineering/Germany), elected fellow of the National Academy of Inventors/USA and fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Professor Schubert Schubert was awared with the Federal Cross of Merit/Germany and named University Professor of the Year 2019/Germany.
